Iulia Tcaciuc
Iulia Tcaciuc was born in Bucharest (Romania). At the age of three she moved with her family to Austria. She was educated at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera and in 2014 employed at the Vienna State Ballet. Her most important roles comprise Big Swan and Spanish Dance in Rudolf Nureyev’s »Swan Lake«, Spanish Dance in Nureyev’s »The Nutcracker«, Grand Pas Classique Hongrois in Nureyev’s »Raymonda«, Pas des Odalisques in Marius Petipa’s »Le Corsaire«, Pas des Forbans in Manuel Legris’ »Le Corsaire«, Other Woman in William Forsythe’s »Artifact Suite« and a dairymaid in Edward Clug's »Peer Gynt«. Furthermore, she danced parts in Frederick Ashton's »La Fille mal gardée«, George Balanchine's »Valse Fantaisie«, »Theme and Variations«, »Jewels«, »Symphony in Three Movements« and »Symphony in C«, John Cranko's »Onegin«, Alexander Ekman's »Cacti«, Trevor Hayden's »Double Date«, Harald Lander's »Études«, Kenneth MacMillan's »Mayerling« and »Concerto«, John Neumeier's »Josephs Legende«, Jerome Robbins' »The Four Seasons« and »Glass Pieces«, Elena Tchernichova's »Giselle« as well as Martin Schläpfer's »4«, »The Seasons« and »The Sleeping Beauty«.
