The Italian Giorgio Fourés was born in Vienna and studied at the ballet school of the Paris Opera. He completed his education in courses at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp, the School of San Francisco Ballet, Architanz in Tokyo as well as in master classes of Gil Isoart, Nicolas Le Riche and Attilio Labis. In 2016 he joined the Ballet de lʼOpéra de Paris, where he danced a wide repertoire including classical and neo-classical ballets such as »Don Quichotte«, »La Bayadère«, »Giselle« and Roland Petit's »Carmen«, but also in contemporary works such as Pina Bausch's »The Rite of Spring«, Ohad Naharin's »Decadance«, Alexei Ratmansky's »Flammes de Paris« or Claude Brumachon's »Les Indomptés« and in new creations of Mats Ek's »Boléro«, Crystal Pite's »The Seasons’ Canon« and Pontus Lidberg's »Les Noces«. Guest appearances in various ballet galas took him through Europe, to South America and Asia. Since the 2022/23 season he has been a member of the corps de ballet of the Vienna State Ballet. With the part of the Bluebird in Martin Schläpfer's & Marius Petipa's »The Sleeping Beauty« he was soon entrusted with a solo role.
