Vivian de Britto Schiller

German-Brazilian Vivian de Britto Schiller was born in Konstanz and got trained at the John Cranko School Stuttgart and Palucca University of Dance Dresden. Engagements led her to the Semperoper Ballett Dresden, Ballett Theater Basel, Aalto Ballett Essen and Ballett am Rhein Düsseldorf Duisburg. Her repertoire includes works by renowned choreographers such as »Un Ballo« by Jiří Kylián, »Siebte Sinfonie« by Uwe Scholz, »Decadance« by Ohad Naharin, »Allegro Brillante« by George Balanchine, »Onegin« by John Cranko, »Peer Gynt« by Johan Inger as well as »Swan Lake« and »Cellokonzert« by Martin Schläpfer, among others. Furthermore, she is a certified Gyrotonic trainer. Since the 2021/22 Vivian de Britto Schiller has been a member of the Corps de ballet of Vienna State Ballet. She danced a pirate and squaw in Vesna Orlić's »Peter Pan«, a rabbit in Lotte de Beer's & Andrey Kaydanovskiy's »Jolanthe and the Nutcracker«, in Paul Taylorʼs »Dandelion Wine« as well as in Martin Schläpfer's »Sinfonie Nr. 15«, »Ein Deutsches Requiem«, »The Seasons« and »Drittes Klavierkonzert«. She also performed in musicals, operettas and opera productions at the Volksoper Wien.
