Version for children by Johanna Arrouas
Rossini's La Cenerentola, staged by Achim Freyer, is also in our repertoire in a special version for children. We show an abridged version that Johanna Arrouas - known to many viewers as a singer through her numerous performances at the Volksoper - has created especially for this purpose. As a narrator, she will also be on stage herself and will bring the story closer to our young audience in particular: Poor Cinderella is bullied by her wicked stepsisters and her greedy father, but in the end she does get the prince, and the audience rejoices at the victory! At last, the right people win, and the others can be laughed at heartily.
