The premiere in March 2025 already has it in its name and in operetta it is the brother of the waltz, so to speak: the Csárdás. Originally played by small folklore ensembles in Hungary, the Csárdás soon found its way into concert music and inspired composers such as Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms and Jeno Hubay.
